So, you’ve booked a studio session — nice one! Whether you’re shooting content, recording, or just experimenting with something new, a bit of planning can make all the difference. We just dropped a reel with our top tips, but here’s the breakdown for when you’re ready to dive in:

1. Know What You Want to Create
Before you even walk through the door, spend a little time researching the kind of content you want to make. Get inspired, gather references, and have a vision — it’ll help you hit the ground running.

2. Arrive 15 Minutes Early
We don’t mind giving you a little head start on your session (when possible). This give you a chance to load in all your stuff and be ready for when you session time begins. Winner!

3. Test Your Gear & Be Ready
If you’re not having us create the content for you, make sure your equipment is working and ready to go. Bring backups if you can. Testing things ahead of time avoids any hiccups once the clock starts.

4. Create a Shot List
This one’s a game-changer. Knowing exactly what you need to capture keeps the session focused and efficient — and make sure you walk away with everything you came for.

5. Manage Your Time
Keep an eye on the clock! Break your session into chunks if needed, and don’t get stuck on one idea for too long. A little structure goes a long way. Taking a quick break for a cuppa (tea and coffee are included in your hire) can make a big difference. Coming back into the shoot with fresh eyes can give you the perspective you need.

6. Just Book It — and Have Fun
Seriously. Don’t overthink it. Whether you’re a pro or just trying something new, the studio is your space to create, explore, and enjoy. So go for it and start your content creation journey today!
